Who writes this, and how the picks get made.
What this site is
Tuned & Groomed covers the practical end of men's fitness, style, grooming, gear, nutrition, finance, and home. The format is straightforward: pick a category, work out what actually matters when you buy, then recommend a short list with the trade-offs spelled out.
The goal is to be the page you read once instead of the eleven pages you read and still feel unsure about.
How the picks work
- Sorted by problem, not by score. Most lists rank things one to ten as if everyone wants the same thing. Here the categories are things like "best for sensitive skin" or "best value" because that is how buying decisions actually get made.
- Drawbacks stay in. If the top pick has a real downside, it is in the write-up. A recommendation with no cost attached is usually a recommendation that has not been thought through.
- Prices are approximate. Amazon pricing moves constantly. Check the current price before you buy.

Who runs it
Tuned & Groomed is written and built by Jonathan Wadsworth, a UI/UX designer based in Charlotte, North Carolina. The site is hand-built rather than assembled from a template, which is why it loads quickly and stays out of your way.
Corrections and contact
If a price is wrong, a product has been discontinued, a link is broken, or a claim does not hold up, send it over and it gets fixed. Corrections are welcome and they get made.
